CALL FOR PAPERS
DEADLINE: Sunday, January 6, 2013
A short 200-300 word abstract should be submitted by November 25, 2012 by 5:00PM EST.
The Harvard Africa Policy Journal (APJ) is the premier scholarly journal in the United States dedicated to African policy.  Its mission is to promote a rigorous, informed, and influential policy dialogue that is relevant to the current and future issues of governance, economics, politics, and security on the African continent. We seek to publish thought-provoking content that provides fresh insight into the most significant opportunities and challenges facing African nations.
 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Academic Articles: 4,000-7,000 words
Op-Ed Articles: 1,000- 2,500 Words
In addition, all authors must observe the following:
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished
  • Authors must submit an electronic copy of the submission online or via e-mail to Africa_Journal@hks.harvard.edu by the Sunday, January 6, 2013 deadline
  • Submissions must sent in Microsoft Word formatting, no PDFs please
  • All papers must be formatted according to the 15th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style guidelines. See <http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html>
  •  Authors must submit a cover letter with the author’s name, address, e-mail, and a 100 word bio.
  •  Authors are required to cooperate with editing and fact checking.
